Thx Tiger & Forest for your reply! Is my mower, bought it slightly used in ‘98 I think. About 1000 hrs on mower, will verify. Will verify pulleys are solid, nothing noted by feel. Will check bushings on the “tensioned” pulley, there may be some vertical play there…. Thx again for your help!

Hello all, just got here... Trying to get a JD GT275 running for fall leaf vac duty and when I engage the blades, it throws off the deck pulley belt. 48" deck, belt on per manual config, it throws the belt as soon as the blades are engaged. Any ideas appreciated!
