    I do notice that the Gov Spring, plunger was there, you can see it in the 2nd photo.

    I tried every way I could to make the Gov work. I decided to rip it down and look inside (I'm getting better at this anyhow) And what I found were pieces of plastic and a small washer. The Gove "spring" a plastic plunger type deal shattered. So at least I think I've found the problem. Did I...

    Assembly has been completed, up and running. I have adjusted the Governor as you guys indicated. What I am now trying to figure out is if I did something wrong when reassembling the pan/case, if the governor arm inside is somehow misaligned.
