    GREENWORKS 60 V Lawn mower

I consider my battery lawnmower just another in my collection of battery operated tools of which I probably now have too many given that I am retired. I think one needs to educate themselves on lithium batteries in general to understand proper handling and storage of them. I try to never charge...

Parking Lithium powered Equipment in the house or garage

LifePo4 are very safe and stable lithium batteries. I have read that Ryobi 40V HP are LifePo4 but cannot confirm. I always remove my standard lithium ion batteries from the charger when charged and keep them in a metal cabinet or ammo box. Overkill? Maybe but I sleep well at night. :)

    GREENWORKS 60 V Lawn mower

I just purchased a Ryobi 40V HP self propelled mower. After some landscaping on my property I now only need a walk behind for about 10 minutes worth of mowing with my Cub Cadet picking up the remaining one hour's worth of mowing so for me going electric was a no brainer. You are correct. Dry...

    GOODBYE TO ELECTRIC

I have found over the years that it is always best to follow a strict regimen on Lithium batteries. Always wait a few hours after battery depletion to put in charger. If possible use the lowest charging rate. For example I am using the Ryobi slow charger that came with my leaf blower to...

    Ryobi 401180 40V lawnmower.

After all our new landscaping I have now reduced the walk behind mower time from 35 minutes to around 10 minutes. So, I decided to sell my venerable old 2003 lawn boy 2 stroker and send it to a home where it will be happier. I will miss the old girl, but time to move on. So as the title...

    My Lawnboy 10323

I am the proud owner of a 2003 Lawnboy 10323 mower. Recently I started having an issue with the carb leaking gas into the engine, which as I understand it is a fairly common issue with these plastic carbs. It was bad to the point where when I pulled the starter rope gas would gush out of the...

    Non Ethanol Gas

For about a year now I have been using non ethanol gas in all my two stroke engines including my beloved 2003 L-B 10323. Around here, the non ethanol gas comes down from Canada and is available in 93 octane only. As per guidelines I use only L-B oil, mixed to 32:1. As an added precaution I...

The previous owner did not...
