If you have not done so, you may want to clean the battery negative connection to the frame. I have seen those rusty or mostly painted so the only electrical contact is a few threads from the cable bolt.

Perhaps the magneto module fails when it gets hot. You may replace the module and you can install a toggle switch in series in the "kill" wire that goes to the module. That way you can take a "safety" switch out of the circuit in case a switch fails when it gets hot and switch all that back in...

Or you can simply put the toggle switch in series on the wire that is connected to the "kill" connection. That way the safety switches are connected or not based on the switch setting which is under your control.

BTW, buy your ethanol free gasoline at a station where you know it is fairly fresh. I suspect some stations sell little of it so it ages and gasoline does not age well unless it is treated.
