I can't find the Voltage Regulator on my Briggs & Stratton Intek 18.5 volt engine. It has to be there somewhere. I downloaded the diagrams but it doesn't show where it's located. Any ideas?

This is a common problem. The cotter pin broke and fell out. Then the linkage rod got jammed. Use a long heavy screwdriver or prybar to push the linkage rod out of the way, then it will return to the original position. The hard part id getting it reinstalled and replacing the cotter pin.
