Interesting post, could a safety switch be killing the electric circuit and preventing the mower from starting. I will remember the tip about removing the kill wire.

"532 18 03-54" Clutch Assembly. Poulan pro, Model No. PP16H36RB (96061015701). Does anyone have the parts diagram for this clutch assembly? My one I bought was in pieces, and I am trying to put it back together.

What I did was replace the carburetor and spark plug. Also the engine is old so I cleaned the fuel tank. The surging problem still exists but my mechanic said they will do that. I would give it to someone with experience in these areas. Good luck.

Does anyone have one of these plastic rings around the intake to the carb. I took mine off and replaced it with a o ring. No more air leak. Mower running perfect.

Maybe the flywheel key is broken and the engine is miss trimmed. Great video I can hear the miss. Man how annoying are those things you can't fix.

My mower does the same thing, I cAn see the governor spring is old. I might get a new one. Not bad for free engine. BS 125cc, looks like yours with plastic everything.

Photo Yip. Fixed problem. Bracket cracked, and air filter housing broken .

The plastic bracket holding the air filter is broken where it attaches to the engine. I have ordered a new one , to eliminate a potential air leak.

My mower wants to die when at idle. The thing is when I tip it back the idle smooths out to normal. Have replaced carburetor still da same problem. It will idle smooth then all of a sudden die down like there is no air. And then idle back up again. Is my fuel tank blocked? This is really weird.

I made a jig to check the angle 30°. I see a person can purchase a jig to attach to angle grinder and sharpen blade to same angle every time.

Yes I say you are right there is a gap in the market for medium sized mowers.

I believe you will resolve the issue with another coil. One to match your fly wheel. Good luck my friend.

I believe the heat from the engine is what is causing the mower to stop. As the metal expands maybe a gap opens and causes the fuel to stop being delivered. You need expert help to solve it.

I used my son's old tooth brush, they have a suction cup on the bottom. Twirled it with my hands to lap the valves. I've read and heard your supposed to clean well after, to prevent any grinding paste getting into the cylinder. Good luck.
