I have found that it is easier and really cheap just to replace the whole carburetor on almost any 2 cycle engine. You can find exact replacements on line (Amazon and Ebay) usually for under $20 and they come with fuel lines, filter and primer bulb.

Thanks Bertsmobile1, it just seemed strange that there was less spring tension at position 3 and 4 and it required pushing hard to get it into positions 1 and 2. Thanks again.

Owners of the Husqvarna Zero Turn mowers, do you have to push the deck level adjusting hard to set it in the No.1 and No.2 position. Most mowers drop to those positions using just gravity, but mine seems to have a lot of tension against the lever when lowering the deck to the 1 an2 position...
