I retired from making Scag.I would call R&D or Customer Service at the factory.Scag is made by MOM(Metal craft of Mayville) in Mayville Wi. 8 miles away they make the John Deere(Horicon Wi)

Have a 25 year old Toro with Briggs.Tried the E3 plug and no go.I use J19lm.

SCAG.Made in Mayville wi.

Had it checked by another BYM and he said coil was good and checked the switch and still no spark.If coil is good and unhook switch there has to be spark.

Best filter is Wix.I use Valvoline semi-syntheris in my toro(24 years old)

How do I check for this?Shorted wire.

Was working and shut off.Went to restart and no go.Changed plug,air filter and fresh gas.No help.Probably a bad coil?

On the new toros they have 2 engines.Red shroud and Black shroud are different engines.What is the difference?
