    I have the Manuel for the tractor . Adjusted the brake at the rod on the side of the trans axle. No brake at all!

    917.289281 won't move

    I am having a similar issue with my 917255736 tractor. Adjusted the brake now the transmission wont engage. Everything seems fine .

    I have a 11 hp Craftsman tractor model 917255736. I adjusted the parking brake . Now the tractor wont engage. The brake is adjusted to the correct spec . Now has no brakes at all. Changed the belt and played with the brake adjustment nothing works. This baffling me!!!!!!
