Not really anything to take pictures of except a mower. I wondered about the electrical pump but there is a slight sound of something running downby the engine. I am trying to find out how to turn the fuel off in order to change the filter. I do t want to drain over 5 gallons if gas in a garage.

I got the pto, ignition switch cover plate off, now how do I check the switch . If continuity is OK then what? Just to clear the ptk does engage the blades so that sho5prove that it is ok, right? Which blades on the pto switch can I jumper to test prove the ground wires?

Just asking... how could it be the brake switch if it starts and I don't move the brake lever? It wouldn't start if the brake switch was bad... would it?

The seat switch is a two wire , but I can not get it unplugged. There doesn't seem to have any type of safety clasp but I have pulled with pliers on both sides if the plastic plug but i didn't want to break it. Any idea? The engine turns over like there may be a kill switch stuck!

Well I am back with the same or similar issue. Battery is new and good.LOL Mower set all winter , aft erht eleaf season. Started up an ran for about 5 seconds. I engaged the PTO...it died. Restarted ran a bout 3 seconds and engaged the PTO ..it died. Now it doesn't start or even try to start at...

It was the battery. The switch needs 12 volt to stay engaged

I agree with is fan, check the battery voltage. The switch needs 12 volt to stay engaged

Here is my final post concerning this issue. After it was all said and done. it was the battery!! Go figure!!! how could the battery cause it? Well it turns out the the PTO has to have constant 12v running thru it to keep it engaged. I thought that I would past this on hoping that it will...

Check to be sure that the generator is not engaged. It should not be on when you try to start the engine. It should have a switch to engage or disengage it.

I am looking for a 1 or 1 1/2 sprayer that has a spray guard to help prevent drift of product (i.e. weed killer , pesticide etc) This is small yards and I don't want to kill the plants or neighbors plant and grass. Maybe someone can recommend a hack to add to my sprayer tip! Thanks

Yes I have and they are no help. Says that it can not be done, have to replace the hydros with different types.. I had a couple other issues right after i first bought it and they were not any help with either. They may be better now with new purchases but for me their after sale support sucks!!!

Yes, That is correct. Also the black connecter is closest to the engine. The other line is the return line ot the fuel tank, and when primered you can see the fuel going back into the tank (of course with the lid off the tank) Thank you for your continued help with this

Well tried the loose cap and still no start. It was running when I turned it off and saw the cracked primer bulb and started this mess.

Can someone remind me how to adjust the speed and sensitivity of the the Hydro on a Badboy Lightning mower? It is just to sensitive.. Rapid starts and turns. I just destroy the turf when turning, even as slow as I can. Thanks. I need to have more motion in the levers before the unit reacts.

Mower king is right on as usually. You can look up any Bad Boy mower and check the deck size for blade torque. As far a I know they are all 90 to 110#

You need to check the ground wire. Have you replaced the battery. There is a second (small) ground wire that must be cleaned an tight for the safety features to work properly.

If you can service it and do light mechanical work on it I would get the BadBoy. Get the biggest Hydro pumps you can if you are stressing it on hills, with the load. How often do you take you current mower the the dealer? If you have to go to dealer a lot then you better buy from a close...

Does it run and pull fine after the engine is hot without the blades engaged. Have you change the hydraulic fluid? Have you checked the level?
