The motor is not locked up right? Did you put the jumper from the car ground on the battery ground and positive on the starter side of of the relay/solenoid to bypass it so you know if the internal of the replay is not causing problem? If it does nothing move the positive to the starter...

I repowerd one of my snappers using the GCV190 (w/windup choke) from a old generic personal pace type mower (not Toro) with good results, it was nice light weight and reliable but it requires more throttle for torque than the briggs and Kaw.

I will use this mower just to keep the this type of junk off the market and allow fellow citizens to go to Walmart (or such) and buy a disposable mowers to keep those respectable disposable mower manufacturing employees gainfully employed. Then I will have a wonderful time watching those fellow...

UPUPANDAWAY, no the 6HP Quantum shaft was 3-5/32 long 25.4 dia and so was the Kaw so it was exact change over, I used everything. The Kaw was warming up the chute but not melting it and after 4 mowes after that pic was taken and so as I mentioned in my post, I put a generic B&S deflector on it...
