Have a simplicity mower and trying to get information on electric choke used on some these engines.have one that is overfueling. Causing strong gas smell and no power. All help is appreciated.

Have a simplicity mower 2012 intex twin cylinder.thats overfueling causing low power and strong gas smell. Repair shop said electric choke is causing problem. But can't find any info on choke. Any help appreciated.
