    lawn tractor starts only in free wheeling

    I have a Sears Craftsman 17.5 hp model 917.272220 lawn tractor which will start only in the free wheeling position. As soon as I put it into NON Free Wheeling it blows the 15amp fuse and the engine dies. Any suggestions? Thanks!
