Good tip, the mower was manufactured in Jan of this year. I suppose I could purchase a new belt if things didn’t smooth out after running the deck for a time.

I do wish there was a way to adjust the tension, it’s a fixed connection on each end of the spring. The manual doesn’t even discuss adjusting it unfortunately. Maybe I should take belt back off and measure it, I have had a belt on my old mower be out of spec on the length.
