Went out this morning to give it a once over again. Started yanking on belt just out of being POd about all of this. Noticed pulley on top of trans moved. There it was, top of trans appears to be cracked causing belt to be loose. Thought I'd heard a noise once in awhile under seat, like a clunk...

New flat and v pulley. Comes off at crank pulley even with the guards tight against it, cuts the belt then pops it off. The belt being loose vibrates pretty bad. Engine mounts are tight also. Last time it happened I hit the brake, ofcouce it loosened the belt even more then pop.

I have and did. Even bought a Kevlar belt, said 5xs better then original at stretching. Taking it apart again, something may be bent I didn't catch. Lot of hard hours on this. But being the tranny and not deck belt shouldn't have nothing bent.

Hello all. Have a trans belt that keeps popping off. This is the second belt doing this, the belt don't seem tight. Springs connected, new pulleys and adjusting arm is all the way out. Any ideas.
