Ok, mine has a choke butterfly on the air intake side of the carburetor and a throttle butterfly on the back side of the carburetor, how can I make sure they’re working properly together

My 19.5 hp riding mower runs and cuts grass, but if I push throttle from turtle to rabbit it will choke off without being on choke, what should I look at to figure out what’s not working properly?

Ok so where would the vacuum line for the fuel pump connect on the dipstick tube, I don’t see a tip coming off the tube for it to connect to, unfortunately several pieces have been removed from mower engine area before I got it and all the manuals I’ve been looking at don’t really show anything...

Ok so what is missing in my original picture on the plastic rectangular plate that the vacuum line would attach to?

Didn’t realize that because the gas tank is missing, could the fuel pump mount to the rectangular plastic plate in the photo or where does it mount because it’s missing as well

To the left of the starter, it looks like the mounting plate is part of the dipstick tube, as you can see in the picture to the right of the rectangular plastic plate.

No problem, I’ve looked at everything I can find and I can’t find a diagram with that part in it, I believe it’s the original fuel pump

I have a craftsman lawn tractor with a Briggs and Stratton 19.5hp engine vertical shaft model 31p672 0912. G5. I'm trying to find out what this part is, I'm thinking it's at least part of the fuel pump? If someone can please help I would greatly appreciate it.
