Easiest diagnosis of the year...broken compression release on the cam...don't waste your time chasing other causes. Briggs and Scrappem engines are famous for this failure. I have replaced the cam on my BS before I sold the mower and fixed two other engines for friends. Not a complicated repair...

If you blew the line back in the tank you might have blown whatever junk that plugged the system right back in the tank...or...the tank needs a good cleaning. Drain and flush the tank...new filter and try again. Drain the fuel bowl and blow out main jet at the same time. You might be very close...

I have a 1939 Farmall A with a Woods 60 inch belly mount mower....cut quality as good as all the mowers mentioned here. You can get a Farmall A...or Allis WD 45 or other brand with a belly mount on Craigslist for a couple thousand....depending on condition of course. I mow my yard and neighbors...
