With the starter working when shorted you have a safety switch problem. Either the seat switch or brake safety switch. Also could be PTO switch but you said it "clicked" with PTO in either position so to me that rules it out.

Not trying to simplify things but this actually sounds like a fuel problem. Drain the tank, drain the carb, put in new fuel adding some Sea Foam, about an ounce to the tank. Rock tractor to mix, wait ten minutes and start the engine. Has worked for me!

Get rid of that .155 line period. BTW: you are extremely wordy. Use recommended.105 or smaller line. .155 is for larger much more powerfuequipmant.

I have a ISX 2200 with a Kawasaki Ft730V-EFI and yesterday I ran one tank out of fuel. I switched to the other tank and restarted but began having problems with engine maintains full throttle. It will run for 15-30 minutes then will idle back down. Has done it several times. Anyone have any ideas?

I have an IS2100Z Series with 24x9.5-12 tires and looking at putting a bigger lug tire on because of slipping in wet grass and on hills. Recommendations? Can I use a 24x12-12 on this mower?

Star Tech, I have replaced PTO switch, bypassed the RIO switch, Bypassed the brake switch, and checked the new PTO switch with ohm meter and it is functioning properly. Getting up from computer now and going to buy a couple of cans of electrical spay to clean all contact and connectors.

I am still having issues and can't get pro to engage. Tried wiring straight to solenoid and solenoid is working properly when I put voltage direct to it. This morning I am not getting voltage from PTO switch to solenoid. Hav bypassed all safety switches, checked the PTO switch and it is working...

This will not help a it is just the operation manual and my problem is well past overheating of engine.

Thanks for the advice. I am thinking along with you that it is more than likely the solenoid. I do have a Tech manual and it is a big help.

The battery is fully charged and as far as I can determine no bad connections. This machine has a hydraulic PTO not electrical.
