    Southern clay soil. ugh.

I feel your pain! I moved from IL/WI border to a small town Cadiz in western KY, living on Lake Barkley. I went from a great lawn in IL to rocks and scattered greens. I was happy in the beginning that it was green, even if just weeds. We also did alot of construction and other yard items...

Starting a Power Washer after a 10 year storage, what to do?

FINAL UPDATE I replaced the power washer with an OEM pump (decided against the much cheaper non-OEM pumps), checked and lubed all o-rings (one was bad) cleaned carb as it was "hunting" occasionally. Pump literally took maybe 15 minutes to change, exact bolt on. I started it up (again started...

Thank you for the information, it is much appreciated. My idle RPM is dead on and once the new cable is installed I will check the governor spring location and its condition. The information on the RPM / Torque was great. I did not realize it was optimized at that rpm. I won't worry so much...

    Fuel questions

I use Amsoil products for all my equipment (2 & 4 cycle) and have never had an issue. I use regular (ethanol) gas throughout the year. I am sure others have had similar luck with other brands, but given my history with Amosil (15+ years) I am not changing. Just my opinion. Never had an issue...

    Keeping your deck clean

I have tried several products over the years and have found Amsoil Mudslinger to work the best. The first time I tried it was after I cleaned the underside of the deck, allowed it to dry and then sprayed liberally with mudslinger. I have found it to easily work a month or more. During the fall...

Best 2 cycle oil, and why

I am a fan of Amsoil products. I only use their 2 stroke oil. I have had good luck with it running all my 2 cycles for the past 5 years. Burns clean, no deposits and plugs seem to last longer. My two cents.
