Purge it again. Sometimes it really takes a lot to get all the air out.

That is the truth.. Remember long I had one, Dana POS.. I swapped in a Peerless that worked fine & then sold the mower.

I just make a trip to local auto parts store & dump it..

One place I would not scrimp, would be the mower hydros'... There I add the best oil.

I hear ya, I do know my 21.5hp Kawasaki won't bog down like the neighbors 25hp Briggs when we cut his same grass.

My 651V Kawasaki is rated @ 21.5 Hp, & with carb tweak, it can become 691V @ 23 hp, & again tweaked further, it becomes the 730V @ 24 hp, same bore & stroke. And all 726cc. So mine is living easy imo. Displacement 726 cc (44.3 cu. in.) Bore x Stroke 3.1 x 3.0 in. (78 x 76mm)

On my battery minder on my truck, it will stay lit green just for a few seconds then go blank as I remove the hookups..

Yea, I'm on the the last can, mostly empty of the of Rain Dance.. :cry: Likely Ceramic when this last can is empty for my mow stuff..

Look it over for places to hold it at. I personally like it sitting on wheel blocks, but if set up safely, should be good.

Excellent we all start somewhere. For lifting in the shop, I use my 3 TON floor jack... Start in rear (heaviest) block up, & carefully lower onto blocks move to front. do same. I would advise against getting a lower cost 2 ton unit. Those jacks are not safe imo.. My floor jack is over...

(y) I was raised to take care of my equipment. So something I may not know about, I research it & ask questions & then determine if I got this. Like you are doing. Then next time is easier. Having it level is important to fill it full level. Any decent hand pump grease gun is all ya...

I put mine up on wooden blocks so it sit level & I could work under it easier..

OK, once I filled till it came out side ports @ 56.6 oz each, & capped them Let it sit overnight, & rechecked next day, it took some more in each, then did purge process over & over. let sit overnight again.. REchecked levels, & added a slight bit, so about 63 oz in each. Bottom line is Clean...

NO, follow this link & see if that helps.. It is for HG 2800's I just did mine.. Any questions, ask 1st before guessing. I would highly recommend cleaning the hydros before as ANY bit of dirt could be very bad for the units https://www.hydro-gear.com/oil/

Ray- Yea good stuff, I use ceramic on the Harleys. But the mowers get old fashioned Rain Dance.. *(Discontinued decade ago) I bought all the stock an old store had. . But I can put it on & not take it off till spring. I even store chrome parts coated in Rain Dance & 10 years later easily...

OK, recent warm up in temps here. So I got my Liberty cleaned up & will be starting to do the waxing.. Good it is a "Black Out Edition". The Black is like wrinkle finish, so mainly just the deck will get waxed. The rims are still super clean & heavily waxed.

I hear ya man. The hex on mine was in right position so crowfoot did work. I would never replace one plastic drain w/another.. My plastic drain weeped, so I added a piece (1" long) of drain hose, I blocked it on one end, & 2 baby hose clamps on it till I did the Hose swap.. Never a hint...

I just used a utility knife to cut off the plastic hose barb, & threaded the remaining drain out. Then threaded in my Kawasaki OE drain line. I did use a 1" crowfoot to give it a snug when it was weeping. Till I got to do the hose swap.
