John deere x300r losing power- kawasaki 17hp

I'm surprised you made it this far before having trouble. As Bert says pull carb and clean thoroughly or take it in for service.

John deere x300r losing power- kawasaki 17hp

You say you've got 200 hours on your mower, but how many seasons is that over? How many times over your ownership have you changed the fuel filter? How long is your off season from mowing? Did you purchase this new? Like Bert says most likely it's the carb but more background is always helpful...

Timemaster? Turfmaster? ExMark? I'm looking for a 30" mower

shut off valve If the gas was not drained in fall most likely dirty carb is the running problem. Drop bowl and have a good clean out and enjoy. If you continue to have issue take your cell phone out and when trouble occurs record it on your phone. If you have to take it in for service show the...

Anyone demo or buy a new HRN216?

So is your new mower easy to pull back on? Can you tell if the transmission is turning if you pull back on the mower? Got lots of use out of my HRX but I'm liking this new design so eager to hear how it goes.

    New lawn mower advice

Take a look at the Toro 20334. Electric start, rear wheel drive self propelled. Stay away from Honda mowers if you want something that's easy to pull back on.

YBRAVO 25 vs Toro TimeMaster and Turfmaster

My Husky Simplicity dealer also sells YBRAVO so I go a chance to demo one last fall. A couple of things I don't like about it is the 2 speed and how you have to stop the mowing to change speeds. I also didn't like the baler handle. I found it uncomfortable to use. I thought the cut quality was...

So disappointed in my Honda mower

Honda mowers are hard to pull back on because of the plastic bushings they use on the driveshaft. The tranny is also engaged when pulling back so you have the gearbox motion to overcome also. My advise is to get rid of it and get something else pronto. I have my JD rider now and my Honda is used...

    New Timemaster!

Happy to report that the Timemaster is finally mine. Been thinking, dreaming of owning for over a year. My lot is big enough for a small rider and I'd been going back and forth between the Timemaster and either the 38" Husqvarna or a 42" Cub Cadet. I had wandered over to Home Depot to pick up...

    Hello everyone, my first post.

New member here. I see a vast knowledge base on the forum so I can't wait to get started. I've got a fairly big yard, just over 1/3 acre with plenty of mature trees. Right now I'm using a Honda HRX217VKA and I'm pretty satisfied with it. Last fall when I got out my Craftsman leaf vacuum I...
