Working on a Sears 42" Mode 917.276181/ SN 042006D001017 The fuse located in the wiring harness has 15 amp rated fuse(blown). The parts listing in Sears Parts Direct indicates the fuse rating should be 20 amp. Looking for confirmation of what the amp rating please, bartles

Thanks. I get that the cylinder head to rocker arm cover gasket area gets sealed between the cork gasket and the rocker arm cover. I just wasn't clear that the baffle to rocker arm cover should be sealed with ATV as well.

Working on a LT1045, new to me. I was having fuel feed issues so after all the usual suspects were cleared, i.e. carb, fuel pump, flow from tank(trickle) I peeked inside the tank with my borescope and found trash from the fill cap sealing gasket and a fuel nozzle! This was a first for me.:LOL...

Need help locating model number. I can not locate the model number I need to look up parts. None of the linkage involved with controlling the self propel are on the mower. It looks like there were tags on the gas tank. I can see a small tag on the transmission that has "130-6733" on it...

Well fellows, most of the time we "shade tree" mechanics overlook the obvious. I went back to the fuses (1-15 & 1-20amp)and checked voltage across them to discover the 20 amp fuse was blown. I did not look close enough to see the one of the bases of the "Z" was not there. P

I am not getting 12volts between the wiring harness connections from the seat nor the steering lever(s) switches. I see three relays on the mower...two in the instrument panel and in the starter motor area on the engine. The wiring diagram I have from Hustlers online parts manual only...
