    Ferris IS2600Z Drive Belt Nightmare

Ouch - I've got about 850 on mine and (crossing my fingers) the only issue has been the PTO switch went bad, kind of expected after a while... and well, there was that morning that I kind of buried it clear up to the frame thinking I could make it through a wet area. that must be some pretty solid ground under there. My backyard doesn't have quite that much standing water, but if I tried running my Ferris IS2600Z through it right now it would be sunk clear up to the fuel tanks. Don't ask me how I know or what kind of a mess it left - yikes!

Buying Advice Ferris IS700 Mower-Not Worth the Money

e Your Customer Service "Normal wear" comment reminded me of a Chevy S10 I owned years ago (30 year Chevy man until this). Loved that little p/u; but, the dang thing immediately leaked oil on the garage floor. Took it in for warranty repair, which the dealer did 4 times, but it still kept...

    Boy are some people dumb.

Some years ago I ordered concrete for a yard project. I specifically told them to use my driveway because the ground was soft. Diesel vs Gas

I'm no spring chicken anymore but still try to do most of my own maintenance. The Ferris really is as easy to do as my JD, maybe easier. Bumpy ride continued

I agree that the ground should probably be leveled; but, for what it's worth I changed out the JD OEM coils springs under the seat for a pair of Ferris and the ride is 10 times smoother. The JD coils were to dang stiff . . . .
