    Pawn Shop find

I guess once you start using one brand of anything, the numbers and what they fit, are a lot easier to recognize. I think at one time, I was going to switch to only NGK, but for some reason, probably a sale or something, I ended up with a bunch of autolite and stens plugs. I don't even...

    It can't be this easy.

It looks like I'm going to have to weld extensions onto the Briggs tail pipes and go with the muffler that came with the Kohler. That's the only way to get the muffler mounting plate bolted in the right direction, and the hood mounting rod back in and the pipes deep enough to go into the...

Ok, good. Trying to find a cross reference to this, was insane for some reason. I'm thinking they need to narrow the amount of plugs down to something reasonable. I bet NGK, has a 1000 different ones. Same as the other brands.

How are the plugs holding up? I'm out of the RC12YC's, but have some of these BKR5ES's. Also, what's the gap for the BKR's? .30?

I was looking for a match to the RC12YC on Stens, it said something about how it's been changed to some other number. "RC12YC is no longer available and has been superseded to 130526"

After buttoning up a few things, It fired up and ran smooth as a kitten. I couldn't test drive it because the seat safety switch needs to be done away with. All of them, in fact. And I'm going to have to find a different size drive belt. But the alternator, at high idle was charging the...

    Paying Homage to Rabbit

The older we get, seems the harder it is to lose a friend. I lost two good friends last year. People that you'd actually call a friend. In my time, I've only had 4 actual friends. They leave a void in your life when they pass. We find ourselves having to think about what they would do in...

The shape of the part that actually crimps (on yours) is the same shape as mine. Maybe it's just the picture and my eyes, but I don't see any indented place on the "properly crimped" connector.

It's better to flatten out the connector (using what ever), than to leave it crimped but still in a round shape, right?

M# LGT2654 Product # 960450047 S# 061815A031116 Briggs 407777 0274 G5 It used to have a Kohler twin cylinder on it. But switching to a Briggs from a JD. This is just going to be for pulling a yard trailer. No electric PTO anymore or deck, since the Brigg's has the smaller crank, from a JD...

Well, I'm just not impressed with the crimpers. Using the connectors that came with it, the first two didn't crimp worth a hoot. Even using the smallest crimp size I ended up using my hammer. I think I'll try putting a nail between the connector and the crimper next time. (using that size)

My back yard slopes to the middle from 3 directions. The middle of those slopes, it slopes slightly to the south. It should drain the back yard. But on the edge of the south side, there's a hump, that won't allow the back yard water to drain. I'm trying to decide if I want to bury...

Yeah I did. (patting myself on the back) It was the first time I'd mowed the landlords yard. I got in and out of the pond without them even know it. Was afraid if they caught me, they wouldn't even let me fix it. 3 oil changes later, removing the carb bowl, draining the gas tank (luckily...

I mowed the lawn today, and after doing so I sat down and had a cold beer. The day was really quite beautiful, and the drink facilitated some deep thinking.
