X360 Forward and Reverse Pedals and Power Deck Lift Stopped Working????

My fan is below the pulley on my x350. Not the same tranny as yours but it makes sense to have the fan right next to the housing to provide most cooling. Try reversing the pulley and fan and see if that helps with clearance issues.

I like your plan. The heavy spring mowing season is winding up and unless you get more rain than usual your mowing frequency should lessen.

John Deere E130 vs Cub xt2

AYP only exists in the parts diagrams, as it no longer a stand alone company. This should clear up any notion of AYP: Todays mower article The Cubs and 100 series JD's contain zero parts that are alike.

X360 Forward and Reverse Pedals and Power Deck Lift Stopped Working????

Check the hydro unit. Make sure the belt is on the pulley. The slight rattle underneath could be the pulley on the hydro unit is loose due to worn splines or the C-clip has come off.

    Lawn Yellowing/Browning in Late Spring

Back in the old timey days when I was a kid my dad wanted a nice garden statement in front of our L shaped driveway. For several years he met with frustration about the results. He consulted the local garden society who finally came up with the answer. A layer of hardpan soil, in his case...

    Front wheel bearing vs bushing

The OD of the bearing should have a slight press or interference fit. The ID of the bearing for the shaft is most important. If you find that the OD of the bearing is a bit loose thin metal shims will work.

Need socket to remove oil plug

You might need a "square" socket or a "star 8pt." socket to fit on that proper. They come in various sizes, you are better off going to a real hardware store or a real mower dealer, not big box.

    Poor cutting

You can use the mulch director and move it about 1/2 way between bag and mulch and if you are not cutting a ton off the top you can get near the bagging results and still not have to empty as much. I get about the same results as you when I don't bag. I guess if you are not cutting a big lawn it...

Out with the old, in with the new!

On my HRX217 the plastic drive shaft bushings heat up on long runs causing friction between the bushings and the driveshaft, thus slowing the mower down. Not such a big deal now that I have the JD and the HRX is basically a trimmer. But now that the HRX is a trimmer and I do pull back on it...

Sold my Exmark, looking for a riding mower.

The X380 gets you out of the K46 although I thought you were moving on to Kubota. The X380 also comes with power steering. Not sure if the 48" deck requires power assist bagger. I'd check with your dealer. The 42" deck with the bagging blades vacuums up EVERYTHING. I'm talking pine needles...

Sold my Exmark, looking for a riding mower.

I have the JD X350 and I love it. It does everything well. I am cutting on almost an acre and I have a well manicured front lawn and some good and bad areas out back. When I bought mine I think the incentives on the X350 were better than the X330 so it just made sense to get the x350. I tested...

Some direction on a new mower/tractor

There's a 2003 John Deere GX345 by me. He's asking $3500 plus the snowblower is included. Under 600 hrs looks clean. Stuff is out there. Use TractorData.com to check MSRP when new. 1990's list should have been $5000-$6000, early 2000's should have been around $6500-$7900 when new.

    Timemaster W/ B&S 121S02-0026-F1 HELP!

Omg. Check flywheel key also if that's the issue the timing could be off. You could always pull plug and pour a small amount of gas, (tablespoon) into chamber and see if it starts right up. Then carb is likely clogged, dirty, simply worn out. Best of luck

Yes I have a thought. Have you tried using a starting or tune up spray when first starting? If so does that improve the starting? Have you tested or replaced the coil? As far as blades quitting remember on the Timemaster the blades must be engaged slowly. Have you checked the RPM's to make sure...

John deere x300r losing power- kawasaki 17hp

Glad it's running much better now. Honestly, if the only issue is some hunting at low idle I'd call it a day and maybe work on it some more on the off season. Typically hunting at low idle is either an adjustment to the low idle,( if there is one) or the jet or passage is clogged. If you choke...

Would you buy the same mower again?

The JD x350 I would definitely buy again. Love the mower, it works as advertised and does everything as it's suppose to . The Honda HRX217 I would not buy again.
