Glad to know difference between 2100 and 2200. I have the ZT-2200 in my Husqvarna. It is non-serviceable, but I just cut a hole in the platform to where I could get to the plug on top. I sucked the old fluid out and put in new. It has 700 hours on it now, and doing fine.

My saw had similar symtoms and the problem was a partly sheared crankshaft key. It would only pop when trying to start it. Sounds like is what yours was doing. It only took putting a new key. Good luck

There was no response when I turned the key to start position yesterday, like there was no battery. But, when I jumped the post on the solenoid, the starter spun the motor just fine. I have not found the schematic diagram, but suspect the switch itself, or a relay. I just tested for 12 volts...
