Put anything flammable in a air tight container and will explode. Not so much in the open... And I've also used starter fluid many times with no bad issues. Though I never tried shooting a whole can in and see what's happens..🤕

Check out the Ego brand at Lowes, Ace or on line. Forget the exact price $190-220 ? 56volt. Bump feed head, straight shaft. Can run probably 45+ minutes of very heavy cutting. Relatively light weight. Parts are available. Beats gas trimmers all day long in my opinion.

I think you'll happier with that combo. Just beware that some of bearings they use aren't worth much. I had some cheapy ones similar from NH and bearings failed in one summer.

I do a bit on the side and know a typical tune up kits can easily run $50 alone. So $2-$3 hundred range isn't out of hand. The days of the $50 service jobs are long gone..
