Cut yourself 4 pieces of wood blocks at the same length of your height adjustment tool and place them under the points described in your manual. Adjust deck as described. This saves you from moving that piece of plastic around to all four points. It will save you time and the headache.

I just got through doing a little searching. It appears that Husqvarna has made a mistake in their parts listing. I have seen both belt numbers on their sites. WTH are they doing? Could there be a difference between the standard Z248 and the Special Edition Z248?

Is that the original deck? Measure the actual deck width.

@StarTech Many newer vehicles have capless systems. I'm still removing the gas cap tethers on my mower.

We still don't have a model number or serial number for this particular Craftsman mower.

Buy your parts from a reputable supplier. eBay and Amazon aren't 100% reputable. Parts Tree sells quality parts. Sellers who carry Stens or Rotary parts are also good choices. Make sure the guard is doing it's job. Check all pulleys for wear. You may need a new belt too. Make sure you get the correct belt. OEM Ariens belt or equivalent Stens or Rotary. Automotive belts just won't cut it

Is this a lawn tractor (riding mower) or zero turn (riding mower) ? Could you be more specific by providing the Model number and Serial number?

Aftermarket carburetors are hit or miss.

You might have to take to the dealer or someone who has the Kawasaki software for the EFI engines. If it were a carbureted unit, I would say look at the wiring going to the fuel solenoid.

Why risk ending up in a pond with a zero turn?

With any zero turn, you could end up in the lake. Have you thought about getting a pull behind mower from Swisher or DR.? You can set those things to mow at an offset. There are other alternatives. One is a push mower and the other is a weed eater.

You should be able to get that one out and replace it. The oil filter will need to be removed first to allow better access.

Look on the other side of the engine. There should be another plug near the starter.

Go to the Hydro Gear website and look up the servicing procedure for the ZT3200; transmissions. Also, make sure that you get hydraulic filters. Do not substitute automotive engine oil filters. You will need 20W50 oil.

It looks like a Magnum. That's definitely a Kohler Confidant engine. If it is, the transmissions will be Hydro Gear ZT 3200. Look for spin on filters on each transmission.

It will be a decent mower once you get all of the mistakes corrected. That's something that you shouldn't have to do. Any warranty work will have to be done by a Lowe's approved repair shop. If that shop happens to be a local Toro dealer, you will be put behind those who bought from the dealer.

It only validated your statement for cool season grasses. I live in an area with warm season grasses. I mow at 3" . The height setting on my mower matches the actual height of grass after cutting.

Another thing that the dealer didn't check was the engine RPMs at WOT. It was delivered at 3,300 RPMs. The service manual states 3,600 RPMs. I fixed that too.
