    I’m thinking I’m going to time according to the picture you sent me and see what happens. I will assemble and spin engine on my workbench and see what happens. For some reason I think this might work. We’ll see. Thanks

    No. The Honda shop manual I bought said to line 2 dots on timing gear with 2 dots on crankshaft gear.

    Rebuilding my HRN216 engine and when I line up dots on timing gear with dots on crankshaft my intake valve is open about a 1/8”. Is this normal or what’s going on?
