Welp…changed the stator…cleaned everything in that flywheel housing…put it all back together and it finally runs. Ran it on high for 30 minutes, ran the blades for another 10…fuse held. Voltage is 14.8 to 15 volts at the battery.
I still don’t know how that ground lug got on there. I never had it in a shop for that kind of work. It had to have been there for the last 6 years since I owned it.
