Just wanted to share a quick tip/review in case anyone else is struggling with belt slip on a Husqvarna HU800AWDX/BBC mower.
I bought the BESTORQ AX19 cogged V-belt as a replacement for OEM part number 579273201 after a standard industrial belt kept slipping on me.
Compared to other belts I tested (like the uxcell AX19), the larger cogs on this BESTORQ model provide much better flexibility. This allows it to wrap tightly around the pulleys and seat correctly. To test the grip under a real load and verify the clutch was engaging properly, I ran it into some tall grass that was 6 inches high, and it cleanly stalled the motor out, proving it grips firmly with zero slip.
If you are replacing the belt on this specific Husqvarna model, this one fits and performs great.
