will not start with the key,i bypassed all the switchs(lap bar,brake ) when i activate the pto it comes on ok,,with the key in run position when i turnthe key over to start all you rear is the relay's go click and it won't activate the starter solenoid but you can jump the piggy back solinoid tnd it will start and run, what am i missing?

are you saying that if you apply 12V to the trigger terminal on the starter solenoid it will turn over and the engine will start? However when you turn the key to start, the starter solenoid does not do anything?

Or, are you saying you jump between the 2 big terminals(battery, starter) on the solenoid, it turns over? Which of the two are you doing?

Well need to actual model number to research as there 12 Exmark Lazer Z variations with multiple models under each of those variations.
