Well the cams are definitely not in time and the gears are damaged from the pictured piece of metal that must have been bouncing around in the crankcase. Gear teeth are not completely missing but they are damaged on both sides. No idea where this piece of metal strap came from. Its kinda like a hacksaw blade without the teeth. I'm not surprised. I found a gas can nozzle in the fuel tank. AI says the strap is part of a guide for the balance weight assembly. Time to punt.
