Motor turns over no spark tested all safety switches all are working checked ignition switch working i'am lost any ideas
thanks Jim

Looks like that mower uses a Briggs engine. Actual model number info from the valve cover would narrow down the actual engine. But anyway need to remove the blower housing and unplug the wires that are connected to the ignition modules. If you have spark then the issue is either in the mower or the engine wiring harness. Since briggs uses a crosstalk diode system in the wires that go to the ignition modules, one of the diode going back can shut down both modules. So if you unplug the wire from just module and then have fire on both modules then most likely the issue is with the diode wiring harness.

Could be

1.Missing magnets on flywheel.
2.Dead ignition coil/s.
3.Flywheel key in distress.
4.Mice chewing wires.
5.Diodes as ILENGINE said (y)
6.Improper ignition coil gap to flywheel of 0.010".
7.Missed a safety that is doing it's job.

Again echoing ILENGINE, pull the kill wire off at the ignition coil. Should drain the fuel tank dry IF the coil/s is/are good.

ILENGINE it is a B&S mod# 446777 i have pulled the kill wires off no fire, checked wires with ome metter the diode on one wire is bad.

i have pulled the kill wires off no fire,
Dead ignition coil/s most likely.

Again pulling the kill wire/s should drain the fuel tank with GOOD ignition coils. If you connect a ground wire to the kill wire terminal it will short the coil killing spark.

Could have Torch spark plugs. If so throw them in the garbage and install NGK plugs.

Good resistor spark plugs should have around 4,500 Ohms of resistance from the plug wire boot end to the center electrode.

Before install new coils verify no voltage spikes on the kill wires after you replace the diodes. Bad ignition switch can cause monetary spikes which destroy the coils' electronics. This is where an analog voltmeter comes in handy as digital are rarely fast enough to show these spikes.

Well still messing with this mower, put new wiring harness on disconnected the kill wire still no spark. The wiring diagram shows a relay have bin all over this thing can't find one any ideas
