Anyone know what this part is?

I replaced the deck belt and hydro belt on my hustler raptor sd and saw this in my yard. Can’t figure out what it is or where it fell off from. Anyone know?IMG_8209.jpegIMG_8210.jpeg
 
Looks like a piece of automotive style edging trim called "edge welting". This stuff was used to cover welded panel edges on many older vehicles. It was also use in some machine applications to prevent people from being cut on metal edges from welded seams.

You don’t think it’s from the mower?
 
just a guess but look for a spot where two panels come together about the width of the center section, or a place you might lift something on it that might cut - maybe a panel, seat handle etc.. You not providing a model and serial number is going to stop folks around here from looking at parts diagrams for it.
