2007 John Deere Z425 zero turn - right side wheel not turning

Here are pics of:

1. The t-Rod. I removed it entirely.
2. The opening where the t-Rod came from. I don’t know if it helps but in case somebody’s wondering there it is.

That one appears to have a nice, wide seal mark at the cone. No leak by there.
 
FINALLY, I have some good news. My mower is back, full power on both sides. What did I do? The last move I made was to take the t-rod all the way out of the pump. I loosened the frame it is connected to so I could see better inside the pump. And when I went to screw it back in, I made sure I was at eye level with the opening and really paid attention to how I screwed it in. I was extra careful to make sure I was screwing it back in at 90 degrees. I didn't purge the lines wih the valve open. I kept them closed, then purged both lines. It was initially sluggish pulling under a load. Noticeably. It will slowly ramp up the power on a hill, then something seems to kick in and it's back to normal. I've mowed twice with it...I have 3 acres to mow. Even mowed in this rain today we're having in Western Kentucky.

Was it not being screwed in all the way? Limited by external structure?🤔 That would be really unexpected....😁
