Well after 2 years of renting whatever the shop had sittin out front, I finally pulled the trigger on a used X350 last weekend. Big thanks to everyone that chimed in on my earlier threads. You guys def helped me stop second guessing everything.
Heres the thing though. Every mower Ive ever ran was somebody elses problem. Now that this one is actually mine Im realizing I dont really know what a responsible owner is supposed to be doin to keep it running right.
Whats the routine for you guys? Also wonderin if theres any early red flags I should be watchin for on a used X350 in the first few tanks?
Got about 2 hrs on it so far, cuts great. 1.5 acres mostly flat, few trees to work around. First rider Ive ever owned so treat me like I know nothing. TIA guys

need model and serial number to find an owner's manual. If you already have one, have you read completely thru it. That is the first step.
Thanks! It actually came with the manual, I skimmed it but honestly reads like a generic checklist. Gonna sit down and give it a proper read this week.
Was more hopin to hear some of the real world tips you guys picked up over the years. It's a 2018 with about 200 hrs on it if that helps. Appreciate the reply

Hello F.,

How many hours are on this used mower?

Did you get an owner's manual when you bought it? If not search for one online or ask the local dealer if they have a spare one tucked away in a file cabinet. An owner manual can answer a lot of questions.

I always advise starting out with a new oil change, oil and air filter.
