The blades listed on Gravely website are for hi-lift. Amazon blade specs reveal the thickness is less OEM specs, listed below.
Blade Length: 16-1/4" (16.25")
Blade Width: 2-1/2" (2.5")
Thickness: 0.250" (Heavy-duty quarter-inch thick)
Center Hole Size: 5/8"
Most blades listed have a thickness of 0.197
Service and parts manual both use same part number for a high lift.
We now have good coverage of Bermuda grass. What I've read is a low lift blade is best.
.
My challenge is being to OCD and over thinking it all. Too late for me to change.
Over 45 years of aviation and power plant maintenance work, with tight tolerances and little wiggle room.
So bear with me.
I'm open to:
part number for low lift blades and or sound reason for continuing use of OEM hi-lift blades.
Appreciate it, see y'all later....
