Bolt size?

I don’t have immediate access to the tractor or model no. but I assume someone can help. Problem is they live an hour away. I’m doing some work on a relatives John Deere lawn tractor with the B&S 19 hp Intek 1 cylinder. Somebody lost 4 bolts that hold on the top plastic shroud/cover. Looks like they screw into the block. I am almost afraid to look at what these might cost as replacement parts. I am hoping someone can let me know what size these are so I can buy some generic replacements or dig through my old bolt stash. Thanks in advance

First thing would be take pictures of the ENGINE and mower numbers for future reference.

Look at say 13-19 hp Briggs single cylinders in a parts list. Should be, all the same. Two longer shouldered ones and two shorter ones in the front or head side of the block.

Best to reference YOUR engine numbers against YOUR parts list.

The bolts appear to be some sort of shoulder bolt. The cost is something like $5 a pop and $10 shipping and tax so that is why I am asking if someone has the length and thread I will find suitable replacements for less than $35. As I noted I do not want to buy a bolt for $6 that I can suitably replce for a couple bucks
