I have a Southland SWSTM4317 Wheeled String Trimmer
Its basically a 2 stroke trimmer on wheels
I replaced he clutch about a year and half ago and replaced clutch enclosure (nose piece) about 6 months ago
The part that clutch engages
When I am at full throttle the clutch engages and does fine
But after about 20 minutes of run time at full throttle the clutch slips and the head would not engage
Just as a experiment I ran a hose with water over the clutch enclosure and it started to engage the clutch for about 5 minutes until it got hot again
I am thinking I should replace the clutch AGAIN and maybe lubricate it at the pivot points (which I never did before)
I have a clutch on order and be getting it soon
Any suggestions would be grealy appreciated!
