The owners manual for the FX801 on the US site is showing 2.6 US quarts with filter for dipsticks with the special mark and 2.4 US quarts with filter for dipsticks without the special mark. The EU site is showing 2 Liters which is 2.1 US quarts
Which translates to closer to 1/2 pint not the full pint as discussed in the bulletin. And I have found that most mower engine dipstick are normally 8 ounces between the add and full marks, which appears to be the difference between the 2 dipsticks.
