Replaced the starting coil and running strong.

Update. It’s running! Had a few things wrong with it. I did have to replace the carburetor because the gas line was melting and gooey and would clean up. So the gas line from front to back, to the pump and out of the pump to the carburetor were replaced. Putting it back together the chock...

The fuel line from the tank to the carb has been replaced. I got it started but it will not throttle up. I am now thinking the governor has an issue. Also this is not a Nikki carb. No selenoid on the bottom.

I wasn’t the one that replaced the fuel pump so not sure if it was tested. Here’s an update. I replaced the carburetor. The mower started right up HOWEVER it will not throttle up.

I got it started but it would not throttle up and after while it died out. Trying to start it again it would backfire and the carburetor is flooding.

I’m going to replace the carburetor and see what happens.

Safety switches are functioning.

There is no gas shut off. Tank was cleaned out and fresh gas and new gas lines put on. Gas filter was changed and facing right direction

Cooling fins are clean
