I am trying to look up consumer manual information on trimmers from Troy-Bilt without the official model numbers.
For example. I have a TB304S trimmer. That is the "family" for the trimmer. The actual Troy-Bilt model number for my particular trimmer is: 41BD304S766.
Is there a cross reference...
All I need now is the front screw for the blower housing, a new air filter, and a new spark plug. Is the front screw an 80-32, or something else. I bought a couple of small sheet metal screws to fasten the oil fill pipe to the blower housing. The project is progressing nicely. That you everyone...
The new parts are in place and it was a good thing that the old parts got replaced. The pawls were missing, the cover over the pawls was shot. The recoil spring was not very good. There was no pull handle and the cord was too short to reach the handle of the lawn mower.
I will have to check, but I believe that the "generic" version of this is made in Emporia, Kansas. They make several different sizes. Thanks for nudging me. I need one of these to take better care of my equipment. Thanks!
I like that, and that is exactly what I do with the Church yard that I take care of. I borrow the Dixon SpeedZTR 30 and then do the finish mowing at the edges and in tight spots with my own 21" mower.
That SCAG is really nice, but more than a bit out of my price range right now.

That is nice! I will keep it in mind. Do they offer it in a non-self-propelled version? I can push about twice as fast as most self propelled can go.

This is all good information that I did not have before. Thanks for providing it.
The reason I am looking is that the ZTR I am looking at is a very good price (almost free, my price range ;))
I have heard the same about the cone drives. However, I have found the kit and instructions to do the...
Excellent! Thank you!
I will try to line up some time today and start cleaning with the one that I am working on for my friend.
Oil changes are my bane.
What do you know about either vacuum oil sucking systems or adding drain plugs on the bottom of an engine?

I have older customers, with older houses, and small gates. I fit myself to their needs, not the other way around.
That's why I'm looking for an older, smaller, zero turn.
Best regards.

Thank you.
Right now I'm primarily concerned with information about a DM-36-24964, a 2002 ZTR 3014, with a 13.5 Hp Briggs & Stratton Intek, Z-Drive, with electric clutch.
I have the opportunity to pick one up at a good price and a little work.
All it has to do is to earn it's keep till I can...
