Seat switch has been replaced and PTO switch works as it is should. Mower will start and run just fine, the moment you release the parking brake or move either steering arm, then the engine shuts off. I checked wires for damage, cut or frayed wire casing and checked connectors for corrosion...
I just picked this up at auction for 80 bucks, runs well, but ground speed, it basically bookies at quite a pace. Has anyone had any issue

All I have left on the 48 Cub is the headlights and the battery box...........here is how she looks so far, not bad for 71 years old with all original sheet metal.

went to tractor supply to buy a new pair of work boots, every pair in the store had the anti theft device pinned through the leather of the boot....Who the hell wants to buy a boot with a hole in it from the pin nail?! F'in idiots!!!!

mounted the final drives on the cub yesterday, will finish the pto and rear tow bar tomorrow and mount them......when the hood/fuel tank is dry I will mount it and then do a top coat with the parts assembled to give it that "new off the assembly line look"

wanted to move around some dirt and mulch for the wife today, but discovered the brakes on the loader were locking up.......so guess what I'm doing instead..........
