Excellent suggestion... I will try to elevate the fuel pump and rotate so the pulse inlet barb is pointed downward so no oil gets entrapped in the diaphragm .....- Wideglide5608

Correcto-Mundo !!! This flat style pump evidently was installed right behind the air cleaner assembly on the recoil starter housing.... Guess the CCP couldn't get their hands on one to "reverse-engineer" it, so they came up with the hermetically sealed plastic disc style to replace it !!! I...- Wideglide5608

Exactly what I had to do ...... Hang it from the crankcase hose and make sure the carb and gas tank connections weren't in a bind !!!!- Wideglide5608

Yes, that is the pump I have... Neither this pump nor the Kawasaki pump will work due to rotational issues. Therefore, I just installed it as shown in the attached pictures... One of my pics is too large and this site will not let me upload it... Best Part is NO ZIP TIES ;) !!! I appreciate...- Wideglide5608

No one.... and I mean NO ONE at any of the local authorized dealers can tell me where the fuel pump mounts on this 10 hp. horizontal engine.
