Both of the fittings in the bottom of my tanks are junk, do they REALLY need replaced with what was in there? Is it necessary to have the little screen on the inside of the bulkhead fitting since there is an in-line filter after the tanks? Trying to figure out something that wasn't going to...

Just acquired a 2006 Lazer Z 60". It's been sitting for a few years after having an electrical fire. Working on replacing the wiring but also have a few other things needing replaced. Hope to have it up and going before the end of mowing season. Todd
