    Was in the middle of cutting the lawn and something let go in the motor and started shaking the entire mower like crazy. Definitely the engine as I shut off the blades and it was still doing it. Immediately shut it down. I'm guessing the motor is toast, but anyone have some troubleshooting...

    SO turning one wheel whether in gear or not the other wheel should turn opposite - which mine seems to do. That would seem to indicate driveshaft is all ok.
