Tanaka Leaf Blower Throttle Trigger. Model TRB 24 EAP Throttle Trigger spring is very weak. Tried to find part but nothing comes up for Tanaka, maybe part is no longer available. Had this Blower for a long time. Can anyone suggest what I can do to find Throttle Trigger Switch. Thanks

I had somewhat simar problem. I found that the 'fuel shut off valve' was clogged. It will let some fuel seep out but not enough to keep running with load. That may be reason it will run until load is on, then dies. After waiting a while more fuel seeps out and it runs normally for a while again.

I had similar problem. I found that the shutoff valve below gas tank was clogged. I removed fuel shut off valve and when I blew into it I could tell it was clogged. I had also removed fuel tank because I thought that it would be easier to remove and replace fuel shut off valve by removing Tank...

Thanks for the responses. It is fixed. It was the 'Fuel shut off' Valve that was clogged. It is the one just below the Fuel tank. I removed it from tank, and when I blew into it I noticed it was not letting air pass. So I unclogged it, replaced it, and mower is running fine. I had replaced...

I'm having similar problem. What I discovered yesterday is when I open 'fuel shut off' valve, and disconnect from 'fuel filter', only a small trickle of fuel comes out. I suspect the valve is not opening. Odered new one and should be arriving today.

Foam was very dirty. So I replaced it with new one. Now what I suspect is the fuel 'shut off' valve is not opening because when i disconnected it from the fuel filter and opened the valve just a trickle of fuel come out. So I ordered a new fuel shut off valve.

I had same problem on a mower with kawasaki engine. Pulling rope very hard and nothing moved. The problem was, fuel leaked into engine oil.

On a kawasaki 48" walk behing mower engines. Runs fine for a few minutes then stalls. Changed Gas filter, Air cleaners, and today installed new carb. No improvement. Would aprediate any advice.

Had same problem last year. Fuel is leaking into oil. The first sign something is not right is rope cannot be pulled to start engine. Had to have it repaired. They removed motor and did there thing. Now it runs fine. Cannot tell cost because they did other things while it was there. Hope this helps.
