Hey everyone! I was born and raised in North Carolina, so naturally lawn mowers have been a part of my life for a long time. A while ago I found an old mower in the shed my parents had pronounced dead. Well, I was bored, and determined to make it work. I figured I could fix it and push 2 mowers at the same time and get my chores done faster. I fixed it easily with a new head gasket which I learned about online, and that set me off to repair dozens of other small engines. Past few years I have someone asking me to fix their mower about every week during the spring/summer. I also have taken in 5 free push mowers, a pressure washer and blower, and a lawn tractor, all of which were out for the trash. So far I got 3 running push mowers, a working pressure washer, and an essentially free lawn tractor out of those endeavors. Turned to this forum to get advice from others who have experience in the world of lawn mowers/OPE, and to share what I've learned as an amateur.
