Yes its made by snap-on and has the correct easy spring in it. thats all the pressure it has

yes checked muffler did not do a pressure test but compression test was 45 tore it back down noticed a shiny spot near the intake port. and one other shiny spot. I think the ring didnot take or from what I read I have a glazed cylinder

The pisonr has .019 checking the ring gap with feeler gauge . This is over recommendations of .015. I ran when I first pulled it. smoked the oil off and it quit and will not start. Where can I get a ring without so much gap. One that actually fits.
I am finally getting back to finishing this thread and thank u for all your suggestions. It turned out to be a sticky float needle coupled with a non working anti-backfire cut off. after putting in new needle and a genuine gasket with small oring. It is running perfectly no chokeing needed...
